Hey everyone!
It's Akinyi (or Aki as some have come to call me). I'm currently 17 1/2 and rather anxious but also scared to turn eighteen. Not doing much right now other than getting through my senior year. Though, if I think about it, this year should be a lot of fun. I am highly involved in my school's theatre and am looking into branching out to others in the community. Um, let's see. Oh ya. My senior year should be rocking since I have only three teachers and two core classes out of the seven I am taking (A.P. Comparative Government and senior English, with the theatre teacher as my English teacher - How rocking is that?!). The other five classes consist of three digital arts periods, a period of technical theatre, and a period of performing theatre (though only because I am the stage manager for my school). So far it looks like I am going to be rather busy this year since I have something at the Globe on September 19th, a conference in L.A. on September 20th, a Tech Fest on September 27th, a T.V. show taping on October 9th, Drama Fest on January 31st, a MTCA event from February 13-15, the Fullerton Festival from March 13-15, Universals on April 3...well, I think you get the idea. The crazy thing is, that is just with theatre and it doesn't even count the events the theatre is throwing once to two times a month in various locations. That also doesn't count the stuff I am doing for my government class throughout the year (main thing being a poll helper on November 4th to help with voting polls of this coming presidential election). Needless to say, my life is going to be one event and excitement after another this year. I just hope that I can survive without going too bonkers.
I think that is enough rambling for the time being. ^^
Edit: Sorry it took so long to join the thread after I joined the guild ^^;;.
