Crazy Weather :D

Subject: Crazy Weather :D Mon Aug 11, 2008 12:44 pm

So yea, last time it hailed where i am was back on June 16th. The hail was larger than today's too :O

I usually never see hail in the summer so i got excited when i first saw it (heck, i still got excited when i saw it today lol)...
(actually it doesn't hail too much in the winter either.. and when it does, i barely notice it o.o)

and then, today~
a BEAUTIFUL thunderstorm :D
I love thunderstorms, so ya o 3o
The lightning was intense :3 (but like.. all i saw were flashes from my windows, not lightning bolts since i wasn't looking for them and all.)
My poor cats got scared D:
my dog.. yea.. he jumped when a LOUD thunder cracked and like.. made the house feel like it was shaking lol.

anyways, i took a good enough picture of the hail that i grabbed and put in my palm

Hail is basically frozen rain...beads/cobble lol.. and depending on how fast it freezes as it falls, it can be bigger :O (compare that picture, to the one from the video's hail [sorry for the blurryness])

OMG thankies for the amazing lesson on hail. Living in california i dont get to see hail and rain so its rly awsome fawsome that you can share the hail!! weather ftw~

.....all we got was a heavy rain though ( i mean really heavy one...like all day)

i only ate the hail that first time (back in June), but it tasted like compacted snow o 3o (like, if i were to take a snow ball, and smush it so it can be smaller and more packed in)
I was fine afterwards :3

funny, cause i was talking to my friends about it too. a few friends that lives about 5-7 minutes away barely had any hail :O

lol, you're the one that can't see snowfall.. if you saw snow, you'd eat it too! XD

i would suppose eating snow is like breathing air, or drinking water, since they both come from the same place n such, the only difference is temperature
